Knowing the exact draw weight of your bow is very important if you want well matched arrows. It is very useful to be able to see how many lbs you get out of the bow at your draw length. The specifications on the bow indicate the number of lbs at a certain draw length, usually 28", but with your draw length you may get more or less lbs from your bow.
