The TopHat Protector Ring is used to protect the shaft from impact. You can use it on the front and back of the shaft for optimal protection. The Protector Ring is placed onto a carbon shaft before the assembly of insert or nock. Thus, the durability of the carbon shaft after missed shots is increased significantly. The 2.25" X3 Vane is made of ultra-stiff material for maximum arrow stabilization and quiet flight, with the same profile as the shield cut X Vane. Great points by TopHat, where other points might sometimes turn a bit loose over time, this points stays nice and tight because of the standard rubber o-ring. Just like points for wooden arrows, these points are a tiny bit wider than the shaft, making it easier to remove the arrow from the target. This point is especially designed for 3D archery and because of it’s shape, really effective. This model point penetrates the target straighter then others, giving less tension in the shaft, giving it less chance of breaking.
