These Skylon shafts may look like wooden shafts, but they are in fact carbon shafts. The relatively low weight of these shafts facilitates a high arrow speed and the .244" inner diameter is quite common, making it easy to find parts. The Skylon Precium Shafts are ultra thin 3.2mm carbon shafts suitable for the avid and advanced shooter. With an outer diameter of only 5.25mm on the stiffest spine (350), these shafts have little wind problems, making shooting smaller groups at long range a lot easier. Various parts are available separately for these Skylon Carbon Precium shafts. For example, the shafts are equipped with an ID3.2 pin adapter to which the pin nocks   of, for example, Skylon or Easton fit. In addition, there are different points available which can be ordered per spine for a perfect fit. It is also possible to provide the arrows with a Skylon Collar, also called a protector hat, which provides extra strength at the front and/or back.
