The TopHat Protector Ring is used to protect the shaft from impact. You can use it on the front and back of the shaft for optimal protection. The Protector Ring is placed onto a carbon shaft before the assembly of insert or nock. Thus, the durability of the carbon shaft after missed shots is increased significantly. Even with hits on hard objects, the Protector Ring will often prevent the destruction of the front part of the carbon shaft.

The Competition Pro Pin Points are the pointy version of the Original. These points are made of solid hardened steel.
