These are suitable for both shooting ánd breaking. For safety reasons, the arrows are provided with a special blunt point, so it can be used safely. We deliver these breakable arrows fast and from stock against the most favorable price (from €1,80 per piece)! Spruce is becoming increasingly popular, especially among 3D archers. It is about 10% lighter than cedar shafts and roughly half the price! In addition, spruce has excellent flight characteristics — thanks to its light weight, these shafts are much faster than heavier woods such as cedar and northern pine. This advantage becomes particularly noticeable at longer distances. Natural product Since wood is a natural product, wooden shafts will differ slightly from one another — not in diameter (this is precisely manufactured) but in appearance and internal structure. For example, not every shaft is perfectly straight, equally stiff, or exactly the same weight. The spine value also varies, which is why wooden shafts are generally grouped and sorted in categories with a tolerance of 5 lbs. To ensure as much uniformity as possible, all shafts are hand-spined, checked for cracks, and straightened by hand. Custom spruce shafts We supply shafts in full length, 32 inches. For many archers, this length is too long and the shaft will need to be shortened to the desired size. We use a special cutting machine that allows millimetre-accurate trimming — guaranteeing shafts that are perfectly equal in length and cut straight. Weight-sorted shafts For even better shooting performance, we can, for a small additional fee, sort the shafts by weight within a tolerance of one gram or 0.5 gram. We do this in groups of up to 12 shafts. If you order more, we will divide them into groups where the weight differences are as small as possible. These arrows by Skylon are very usefull for archers with a longer drawlength, due to there 33inch shaftlength. Where most carbon shafts or arrows stop at 32inch, this Frontier arrow goes an inch longer which might be the difference you need. Ofcourse we can also cut these arrows to the desired length making this an arrow for all archers. These arrows are also lightweight, making it a fast arrow and with a inner diameter of .244 (6,2mm) lots of components from different brands fit the Frontier. The TopHat Protector Ring is used to protect the shaft from impact. You can use it on the front and back of the shaft for optimal protection. The Protector Ring is placed onto a carbon shaft before the assembly of insert or nock. Thus, the durability of the carbon shaft after missed shots is increased significantly.
