The TopHat Protector Ring is used to protect the shaft from impact. You can use it on the front and back of the shaft for optimal protection. The Protector Ring is placed onto a carbon shaft before the assembly of insert or nock. Thus, the durability of the carbon shaft after missed shots is increased significantly. Even with hits on hard objects, the Protector Ring will often prevent the destruction of the front part of the carbon shaft. A great product which is worth every single penny! You see it a lot, in for example, Fita target shooting. It’s round shape makes it a bit more target friendly and easier to remove. These points from Skylon are suitable for the ID5.2 mm arrows from Skylon, for example, but also fit on other shafts with the same diameter. These so-called X-size points are degradable (80, 90 or 100 grain) and must be glued into the shaft. Suitable for all Skylon ID5.2 shafts from spine 300 to spine 500.

These Skylon points are suited for use in shafts with a 3.2mm inner diameter. These are for instance: The Performa, Paragon, Precium and Preminens. These points are glue-in points, meaning you have to glue them into the shafts with either hot melt or a suitable glue like the tip grip by GoldTip. Please mind, with some glues it is very difficult to remove the points. You can break bits off the points of 10 grains per piece.
